Equmenia Church Huskvarna is seeking a dedicated youth leader who wants to help develop our work with young people together with volunteer leaders, staff, and the entire congregation.
About the Position
We are looking for someone who is passionate about young people and who wants to create safe, fun, and meaningful contexts where young people have the opportunity to explore Christian faith, build relationships, and find their place in the church.
As a youth leader, you will be an important part of our activities and work closely with young people, volunteer leaders, and families.
The position includes, among other things:
Lead and develop the congregation's youth work together with volunteer leaders
Build relationships with young people in their everyday lives
Plan and carry out youth gatherings, camps, and other activities
Participate in confirmation activities
Support and equip young leaders
Contribute to the transition between children's, tween, and youth activities
Encourage young people to find their place in the congregation's community and worship life
Collaborate with the Equmenia Association and other staff members in the congregation

Experience in youth work, leadership, or congregation work is a merit. We view positively education in, for example, theology, leadership, pedagogy, or youth work, but place great emphasis on personal suitability.
