A school break internship means that young people aged 13-15 work on simple tasks in different neighborhoods, such as picking up trash and clearing flower beds. The young people will also gain knowledge about the job market. The purpose is to increase knowledge about work at an early age and for young people to learn to take care of their residential area. This is a popular initiative and many young people apply each year. Young people work both in their own neighborhood and in other parts of the city to get opportunities for more social interaction and greater mobility throughout the city. Job Duties We are now looking for you to mentor young people in a school break internship during fall break, week 44. You also need to participate in an introduction to the work Tuesday - Thursday in week 43. You will be a mentor for young people aged 13-15 in different neighborhoods in Helsingborg. You will guide them in their work and be a support to the young people, work alongside them in the practical tasks, and be a good role model. We also want you to share information and create discussions about the job market topic. The work is performed outdoors. Qualifications We want you to: be at least 18 years old find it enjoyable and rewarding to work with young people be social, engaged, and responsible have good interpersonal skills be able to work both independently and collaborate well with others be open to change and flexible be able to share information/create discussions about the job market topic It is a great advantage if you have previously worked with young people or been a leader for children/youth, for example in an association. A requirement for employment is that you have current training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR. If you lack this, you will be offered training in connection with your employment. Great weight will be placed on your personal suitability. If you are offered employment, you must provide a valid extract from the police criminal record registry.
