You support and work motivationally with young people toward education, internships and work. You provide individually tailored support based on each individual's circumstances. Among other things, you provide support in the following areas: Studies Some young people lack a complete upper secondary education or don't know how to continue studying after upper secondary school. You provide advice and support in study planning to earn a diploma and inform about opportunities to continue studying. Government Agency Contacts You provide support and help to young people to register with the Public Employment Service and assist in contact with the Public Employment Service or the Social Insurance Agency, etc. Work and Internships Give young people tips and advice on how to go about job searching. You provide advice on, for example, how to write a CV, cover letter, and how to apply for jobs. You also provide support in finding an internship position. Guidance on Mental Health Issues You support and guide young people to find the right help for mental health issues. What You Need to Bring We are looking for you who: Have a degree in social work or other university education that the employer deems equivalent. Have documented experience working with young people. Work in a structured manner, are relationship-building and cooperative with others. Have knowledge of the Social Services Act and its application. Have experience working within social services and/or other government agencies. Hold a Class B driver's license. It is a merit if you have: Experience balancing individual work and teamwork. Experience with inter-agency collaboration between different government agencies and operations. MI training. Confidence to stand firm and be a steady adult when life is sometimes challenging.
