We are seeking a youth treatment specialist to Nytida Open Care in Örebro/Karlstad, based in Karlstad. The operation currently consists of six youth treatment specialists. The operation also includes a unit manager and an operations manager. Certain meetings such as workplace meetings and supervision will be held in Örebro. Nytida's specialized open care in Örebro/Karlstad serves children and young people, adults, and families who need support regarding addiction, suicidality, self-harm, depression and anxiety, criminality, comorbidity, or who need family support. The operation offers individually tailored treatment interventions to meet the individual's needs. The intervention is based on evidence-based and proven methods. Support is provided to create structure in everyday life, establish functioning routines, and manage individual challenges. Together with the individual, an individual plan is drawn up where concrete goals are formulated to promote positive development. Our interventions and our organization shall be characterized by care, commitment, and cooperation at all levels. Your Assignment As a youth treatment specialist within Nytida Open Care, you work closely with all stakeholders around the young person; social services, healthcare, guardians/relatives, school personnel, and possibly other important people around the young person. Your work tasks may vary but are based on the client's needs and the young person's needs. The main task is to work closely with the young person to together achieve the goals in the implementation plan. Open care is responsible for our supported housing in the form of training apartments where young people can be placed, and work is conducted in parallel with supported housing and open care services. Some work tasks are thus related to supported housing and activities of daily living, where the goal is for the young person to become completely independent. In your role as a youth treatment specialist, you are responsible for: Establishing implementation plans and documenting in accordance with applicable legislation. Cooperating and collaborating with the young person's network. Maintaining good relationships with social services and other external contacts. Informing/feeding back to your immediate manager. Work according to the company's goals and guidelines. Cooperate and collaborate with other colleagues, managers, and operations within Nytida. The position is full-time and includes full trust-based working hours, which means that as an employee you are responsible for when you work; the most important thing is that the young person's needs are in focus. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with an academic degree in the behavioral sciences field as a social worker or behavioral scientist. Experience with the target group is meritorious, as is training in MI, relapse prevention, KSL, substance abuse, and family treatment. You see possibilities, have a positive outlook, and strong commitment to people. The work requires that you are responsible, solution-oriented, and have personal maturity. You readily share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues and see it as self-evident to contribute to a positive work environment. You appreciate varied work tasks and working hours. The latter is important since our youth treatment specialists manage their own working hours and trust-based hours are important to best meet our young people. Otherwise, you have good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, spoken and written. Driver's license category B is a requirement. Upon employment, an extract from the suspicion and burden register will be submitted.
