About the Position
Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Swedish Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to a smooth-functioning everyday life. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace.
The client is a 25-year-old woman living in Strängnäs who enjoys activities both indoors and outdoors, such as going to the cinema, having coffee, bowling, and playing video games. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and the work may include assistance with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home.
Who Are You?
The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client.
For this position, you must have:
good physical fitness
good proficiency in Swedish
be a non-smoker (during working hours)
have a B driving license and access to a car
be comfortable with pets
For this position, it is an advantage if you:
have experience with similar work
share the client's interests in activities both indoors and outdoors as well as animals and nature
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Working Hours, Employment Degree, and Salary
The current employment form is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with an employment degree of approximately 40%. Working hours are scheduled during day, evening, and night shifts on both weekdays and weekends.
Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
Start date immediately or by agreement.
