Duties You work in a team focused on our elderly residents and are a central part of the care provided to our care recipients. Together, you will deliver quality care with compassion and gentle hands while strengthening the elderly person's abilities. The work is based on the individual's needs and care plans, as well as the facility's guidelines and goals. We work from a shared set of values and increased participation and collaboration. Your duties include assisting residents with tasks they cannot manage themselves, such as hygiene, social activities, meals, and delegated health and medical care services from nurses. You participate in workplace meetings and ombudsman meetings. The work also includes contact with family members, unit managers, nurses, and rehabilitation staff. Qualifications We are looking for trained nursing assistants or equivalent experience. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and can understand and communicate written and verbal information clearly. You have good computer skills and are comfortable documenting in medical record systems. You also need to handle phone contact in a professional manner – both with family members, nurses, and other stakeholders. You should be motivated and passionate about helping others, and you find it easy to understand others' situations. Showing respect for others' wishes and needs is important to you, and you enjoy collaborating to find solutions to reach our common goals. In our work, we face constant changes, which is why it is important that you are flexible, can stay calm, and maintain a good sense of humor even in stressful situations. Previous work experience in healthcare and social services is desirable, as is experience working with people with cognitive impairment and low-affect interaction.
