Make a difference. Every day. At Hässleholm Hospital, approximately 300 employees work within the orthopedic operations area (VO), providing services at hospitals in Hässleholm and Kristianstad. In Hässleholm, we operate a small hospital with big impact, providing our patients with security when their health falters. Our orthopedic department has 19 beds for planned surgeries, primarily focused on hip and knee procedures, though we also perform other surgeries such as on the spine, shoulder, foot, and hand. We are proud of our well-developed care pathways that continuously improve and allow patients to often return home after just one day with us. Surgeries are performed during daytime hours, Monday through Friday. We also conduct the Future of Orthopedics Hässleholm (FORTH) project, which includes planned new construction of the entire orthopedic operations area. This is an exciting development of orthopedic services, featuring large high-tech operating rooms. This will include innovative development of patient processes regarding logistics, personnel, and equipment. 3 position(s). In the role of nursing assistant with us, you will perform common nursing assistant tasks for a surgical department. This means you focus on the patient's pre- and postoperative care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment. There is great emphasis on patient participation and training. You work in close collaboration with other professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. As a new hourly employee with us, you will receive an individualized introduction based on your previous experience. We need someone who can work day, evening, weekends, and possibly night shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure, preferably with a focus on healthcare/acute care. Good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement. You also have the ability to adapt in your daily work and adjust your work style based on varying work pace. Good conduct toward patients, relatives, and colleagues is essential for you.
