About the job As a nursing assistant, you have an important role in society. We currently have openings at the following care and residential facilities: At Altplatsen care and residential facility, we are seeking two permanent positions. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. It is advantageous if you have specialized education and expertise in dementia care. At Björkekärrshus care and residential facility, we are seeking two permanent positions. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Experience with specialized assignments such as BPSD representative or documentation representative is advantageous. At Änggårdsbacken care and residential facility, we are seeking five permanent positions. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Previous experience working with individuals with dementia is advantageous. We provide care and support for residents with dementia and somatic conditions. In your work, you are the one who makes daily life function and become meaningful. With a focus on creating and strengthening health, we always work from a person-centered approach. You meet each resident with respect and base your work on their individual needs and circumstances. By motivating and supporting residents, you help them maintain their independence. Your work includes everything from personal care, assistance with meals, encouragement and support in social activities, and collaboration with family members. You work together with colleagues and perform certain tasks under delegation from licensed personnel. As a contact person, you plan, implement, document, and follow up on care work with residents. We are a 24-hour operation with scheduled working hours. At some facilities, we collaborate across departments, which means you may need to assist in another department if needed. About you We are seeking someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and can provide the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or alternatively can show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were implemented. The role requires computer skills for documentation and incident reporting as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. At Björkekärrshus, experience in dementia care is required, and at Änggårdsbacken, previous experience working in care and support is required. It is advantageous if you have experience relevant to any of the facilities' specific needs as described above. You enjoy collaborating with others and have good communication skills. In your role, you meet many people, which requires that you can work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your interactions, and always keep residents' best interests in focus.
