JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant in a temporary assignment, you work flexibly and cover multiple departments where needs arise, for example during short-term absences, vacation, and other specific care challenges. The role includes typical nursing assistant tasks, and we always want to provide the best possible care and support to our residents. The role requires high demands on flexibility, good conduct, and the ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
You will also provide certain administrative support to the unit manager, for example through some staffing planning. It is important that you have great respect for our elderly residents and that you see the person and their situation in every encounter. You will create valuable relationships with residents and their families, and you will meet people with different life histories.
The work is based on good collaboration, both within your own work group but also with other professional roles such as nurses and rehabilitation staff.
Work hours are according to a rotating schedule with shifts during day, evening, and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with experience working with various delegated tasks. You have good computer skills and you master Swedish in speech and writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

In Tranås kommun, we have five special housing facilities where we can offer different types of care, such as dementia housing, care housing, short-term placement, and respite care.
