About the Job Would you like to work near the sea in a beautiful archipelago environment? We are now recruiting nursing assistants for Södra Skärgårdens Vård och omsorgsboende. There is also a decision in place through 2027-03-31 for a wage supplement of 2250kr for permanent staff in care and elderly services at Södra Skärgården. You must be at Saltholmen at 06:00 to take the boat to Styrsö Bratten to work the morning shift. More information about the facility can be found here: Södra Skärgårdens vård- och omsorgsboende You will be an important support in people's daily lives and provide care and elderly services alongside other colleagues in a wonderful community. As a nursing assistant, you have an important role in creating security, participation, and a meaningful daily life for people who need support and care. We seek committed nursing assistants who want to contribute their expertise in an operation where the individual's needs, wishes, and resources are at the center. You work person-centered and based on the individual's own conditions and resources. You support and motivate the person to be as involved and independent as possible in their everyday life. The work is characterized by respect for the individual and a rehabilitative approach, with focus on the individual's own abilities. Work tasks include personal care, support with meals and daily activities, as well as social and motivational support. You have close contact with people who live or spend time at the facility and collaborate with relatives and other professionals. The work also includes documentation and tasks on behalf of licensed staff. Positions are available on both dementia units and somatic units. As a nursing assistant, you are an important part of the team and contribute to safe and quality care. You have the opportunity to develop in your professional role and make a difference in people's lives. All social documentation is handled digitally. If you have not previously used the systems employed within Gothenburg City, you will receive training in these. Those we serve need support during day, evening, and weekends. Your working hours are therefore scheduled. About You Requirements: • We seek you who are a trained nursing assistant and can provide the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or alternatively show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced.
