Here about 900 employees work around the clock for our target groups. Skogsgläntan is a special residential facility located in Skogsbo. Here are the departments Eken with 9 apartments for people with dementia, Rönnen with 9 apartments, and Björken, Syrenen, Granen and Tallen with 15 apartments each. Skogsgläntan is housed on ground level which makes it easier for everyone to access the garden and the beautiful outdoor environment around the facility. At Skogsgläntan we are now looking for three nursing assistants who want to contribute to our residents having a safe, dignified and meaningful daily life. We are offering two positions at Eken/Rönnen, where Eken is a dementia unit, and one position at Lövet. As a nursing assistant at Skogsgläntan you are an important part of the team around our residents. You work in a person-centered manner and base your approach on each individual's needs, wishes and circumstances. The goal is to create a daily life where our residents feel safe, included and seen. Your work tasks include: providing personal care and support in various everyday situations assisting with for example hygiene, dressing, meals and transfers working based on the residents' care plans and individual needs creating conditions for social community and meaningful activities performing healthcare tasks on delegation from a nurse observing changes in health status and reporting further documenting and reporting according to applicable routines and legislation collaborating with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, relatives and other colleagues. We work based on IBIC – The Individual's Needs in Focus, with emphasis on the individual's resources, needs and wishes. On the dementia unit, a safe and low-stimulation approach is particularly important. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening and weekends. The work involves considerable physical activity and can at times be physically demanding, for example during transfers, work on stairs and handling laundry and storage. We are looking for you who have completed and approved nursing assistant training have good knowledge of Swedish and can communicate safely with residents, colleagues and other professionals, and document in Swedish have experience from a care-related profession, preferably with experience of dementia, substance abuse or mental health issues have knowledge of low-stimulation approaches are experienced in using computers, mobile phones and digital systems as a natural part of your work have an interest in completing our internal training for medication and insulin delegation have the physical ability to handle the work's transfers, awkward working positions and other practical tasks.
