Would you like independent and varied work where you get to meet people in their own homes? We're now looking for two nursing assistants for Skogsbo home care. As a nursing assistant in home care, you have an important role in creating security and providing good care to our clients.
Job Description
Provide safe and quality care to clients in their own homes.
Assist with personal care, such as hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals.
Support clients in social activities, such as walks and socializing.
Perform medical procedures by delegation, such as medication management.
Use mobile phones for scheduling, documentation, and attestation.
Handle alarms and report any deviations.
Document completed services according to applicable guidelines.
Work together with the team to create security, dignity, and good quality of life for the clients.
The work involves visiting different clients' homes, either by walking, cycling, or driving the home care vehicles. Since services are provided in the individual's own home, there may be pets and the work can be physically demanding, involving heavy lifting, transfers, and movement.
The work includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.
In care work at Avesta Municipality, joint planning is an important part of the organization. You will be employed by the Care Administration with placement at Skogsbo home care, but joint planning means you may occasionally work at other units within the administration. Skogsbo home care is primarily jointly planned with Krylbo and Horndals home care.
Qualifications
Approved nursing assistant certification.
Experience in care-related work is desirable, especially in dementia care, mental health, or home-based care.
Interest in and preferably experience with medication delegation.
Good Swedish spoken and written skills, as well as good computer and mobile device proficiency.
Knowledge of e-health and welfare technology is desirable.
Good physical ability and capability to walk, cycle, drive a car, and perform transfers and lifts.
Category B driver's license and comfort with driving the municipality's vehicles.
Comfortable working in environments where pets, strong odors, and smoking may be present.
