Health and care residences in Malmö City consist of five units. We are now recruiting five nursing assistants for a resource team at our health and care residences within unit 1. As a nursing assistant on the resource team, you will work on a fixed schedule (day/evening and weekends). You will be placed in the resource area Basen-Tryggheten. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant, your role includes providing care, service, and support to residents. We are looking for someone who is responsible and solution-focused. You are also flexible and have the ability to reprioritize and handle rapid changes. We value your high empathetic ability and great commitment to the wellbeing of elderly people and their opportunity to live with dignity. Understanding residents' different needs and possibilities is self-evident to you. It is important that you have a professional and respectful approach and an ability to create security and calm even in stressful situations. You have a positive attitude and contribute to a positive work environment to promote good cooperation. The work requires medical care duties as delegated by a nurse. You will also collaborate with other professionals and maintain continuous contact with family members. The work also includes documentation in the Life Care system. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with approved grades. We see that you have previous experience working in health and care residences or care work. It is a merit if you have experience working with people with dementia and experience using IT tools such as Lifecare, Flexite, and Senior Alert, as well as experience performing medical tasks according to delegation. To thrive with us, you want to work with person-centered care where you make the resident's daily life meaningful. You are flexible in the sense that you can quickly adapt when circumstances change, and you have the ability to prioritize and organize your tasks. The work requires that you can work independently as well as have good cooperation with your colleagues and other people involved around the resident.
