Care and residential facilities in Malmö City consist of six units. We are now seeking nursing assistants for the resource team at our care and residential facilities within unit 3. As a nursing assistant in the resource team, you work on a fixed schedule (day/evening and every other weekend). You will be assigned to a resource area and work at its various operations. This means you may be placed in different work groups within the resource area depending on operational needs. Our resource area is based at: Danska vägen 16 A and C Husiegård, Ernst Jakobssons gata 7 Apelrosen, von Troils väg 8B Job Responsibilities You work with providing residents care, service, and support – always with a focus on person-centered care. The work also includes: Handling medical tasks by delegation from a registered nurse Documenting in the Life Care system Collaborating with colleagues, family members, and other healthcare professionals As an employee in the resource team, you will not be a primary contact person, which gives you more opportunity to focus on daily care work and acute needs in the operation. Qualifications You are a trained nursing assistant with great interest and commitment to your profession, where you like to go the extra mile. We prefer that you have experience with dementia care and of course you are confident in your professional role, have good empathetic ability, and always put our residents at the center. Good teamwork and work satisfaction are prerequisites for succeeding in our mission. We are now looking for you to contribute your experiences, knowledge, curiosity, and ideas to the team. Together with your colleagues, you are creative, solution-focused, and flexible, and handle different situations that arise. You communicate fluently in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Documentation is an important part of the nursing assistant's role and you need to have good computer skills.
