Description Bollnäs Municipality is now recruiting care assistants for a new assisted living facility (SÄBO) planned to open in 2027. This is a unique opportunity for you to be part of the process from the beginning and contribute to shaping the future of elderly care in Bollnäs. The positions are permanent full-time employment, with start date by agreement. Three different work schedule options are available for these positions: daytime, night shifts, or a combination of day and night shifts. Bollnäs Municipality is investing in a modern, secure, and homelike assisted living facility set to open in 2027. The facility will be designed with multiple departments, common areas, and outdoor spaces, with a focus on quality, participation, and quality of life. Together, we create elderly care to be proud of – every day. Job Responsibilities Working as a care assistant is both varied and meaningful. As part of a team, you work closely with residents and contribute to their security, participation, and quality of life in their daily lives. Since you will be involved in developing the operations, an important part of your work will be contributing to the development of the facility. Your work is based on each individual's needs and care plan. You are available in daily life – for example during meals, cleaning, laundry, and personal care. Examples of job responsibilities: Provide individualized care based on care plans Carry out medical and rehabilitative interventions by delegation Document according to current legislation in digital systems Collaborate with colleagues, families, and licensed healthcare professionals Contribute to ensuring each resident maintains autonomy, influence, and dignity The work is varied and fulfilling, and you meet people in many different situations. Through empathetic and professional conduct, you create security and well-being for residents. In your work, you will also meet and work together with therapy and assistance dogs. Various types of activities are a natural part of the work, and different ambassador roles will play a central function in the operations. The facility's ambassador roles include: BPSD Administrator Activity Ambassador Hygiene Ambassador Nutrition Ambassador Risk Ambassador IBIC Language Ambassador Technology Coach Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant with a genuine commitment to people. We would appreciate previous experience in dementia care. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, in accordance with upcoming language requirements within elderly care. As a person, we see that you have the desire to be part of developing our operations. Furthermore, you have a professional approach characterized by respect, dignity, and good conduct. The work requires flexibility, initiative, and teamwork skills. We also see that you are comfortable working in a changing environment, where both tasks and areas of responsibility can develop within the scope of your position. It is an advantage if you have experience working in assisted living facilities. Other requirements: You must be able to provide documentation of a protected professional title to be employed as a care assistant The employer requests an extract from the criminal record at the time of employment You must have access to digital identification for performing the duties With your application, please attach a CV and cover letter.
