Welcome to anchor in Oskarshamn Municipality. At Nyhem in Kristdala there are three special residential facilities. You will join a work team with a unit manager, personnel planner, nursing assistants, care aides, and service staff. Together we conduct close team collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and district doctors. 2 position(s). WORK TASKS Do you want to help create meaningful everyday lives for other people? Are you a dedicated nursing assistant who is passionate about care, safety, and support? Then you could be one of our new colleagues at Nyhem in Kristdala! Nyhem is a special residential facility where you, together with other staff, implement approved care, health, and service measures for individuals according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and health/medical care services according to the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL). Work tasks vary and can include personal care, activities, cleaning, and food shopping. We are developing a working approach where everyday rehabilitation and activation for residents at Nyhem is a natural part of daily life. The role also includes being a contact person and establishing implementation plans. You will also administer medication according to delegation. Other nursing tasks may also occur as delegated by the nurse. The values outlined in the Social Services Act are an important tool in our work team that characterizes everything we do. Our starting point is always the individual and their well-being. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. For your information, there is a cat at the facility. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant or has equivalent education as deemed by the employer. Experience with similar work tasks is preferred. It is a merit if you have previously worked with dementia and/or psychiatry. As a person, you are open, confident, and have a professional demeanor. You have analytical abilities and a positive attitude. You can see the bigger picture and understand each individual's circumstances and needs. You are responsive, have good collaboration skills, and are flexible with an ability to adapt to changing circumstances. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive work spirit.
