Description We are looking for you to make a difference for people in need of short-term support and rehabilitation. With us, you will have the opportunity to be part of a developing operation where we work together to provide our residents with a safe and high-quality stay. Our short-term residential facility accepts adults from 18 years old who have been granted support under the Social Services Act. This can include people who have acquired an injury in adulthood and who need extra support for a period following a changed life situation, or people who need to stay with us for other reasons. Those who come to us often have extensive medical and care needs as well as a need for rest and recovery. We work with daily rehabilitation to strengthen the individual's ability and promote faster return to independence. Duties As a nursing assistant, you work with care based on a health-promoting and individually adapted approach. By encouraging participation and self-determination, you contribute to security and continuity for the individual. The work is based on individually adapted goals and interventions documented in implementation plans. At the short-term residential facility, we work in multidisciplinary teams consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, rehabilitation personnel (occupational therapist and physiotherapist), support pedagogues, administrative staff, and unit managers. Together we create a safe, supportive, and developing environment for the residents. As staff, you contribute to continuity by documenting and passing on relevant information to colleagues at the end of your shift. As staff, you contribute to monitoring the individual's implementation plan by documenting observations, needs, and interventions that arise. You need to be able to work independently, prioritize between different needs, and act calmly when situations change. Work tasks include: Personal care and individual support Security-oriented supervision and support based on individual needs Support in meal situations when needed Information transfer and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals Documentation of interventions, observations, and changes in the individual's needs Carrying out delegated health and care interventions on behalf of a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist Implementation of rehabilitative measures according to prescription Management of tracheostomy according to delegation Handover of relevant information to the next shift The work is both varied and developmental. The position requires a flexible, structured, and situation-adapted work approach. Qualifications We are looking for you who have completed nursing assistant training from the care and health program or the care and health program for adults. It is also a requirement that you have experience working in care and health services. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the language requirement, you may be offered to take a language test through test provider Educateit. In addition to the basic requirements, it is an advantage if you have: Experience working with people with acquired brain injuries Experience working with daily rehabilitation Experience managing tracheostomy, or willingness to undergo training and receive delegation Experience with mental health issues, substance abuse problems, short-term facilities, inpatient care, or hospital work is advantageous. You are positive, helpful, respectful, and considerate and provide individually adapted support and care. You are flexible, responsive, and collaborate well with others. You are calm and confident in pressured situations, can prioritize, make decisions, and take responsibility even when circumstances change.
