Högalidshemmet is a senior living facility with a total of 26 apartments distributed across two somatic care units. The remaining three units provide short-term and respite care. Högalidshemmet is located in Hässleholm, approximately 10 minutes walking distance from the station, with excellent bus connections. We are seeking two nursing assistants on temporary contracts at Högalidshemmet at 75%. One temporary position runs from 261001 to 271001, and the other runs from 261006 to 271006. As a nursing assistant at a special residential facility, you work together with your colleagues to provide care adapted to the individual. We support our service users with personal care, daily rehabilitation, and social activities to create a meaningful everyday life. You follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothes, and maintain a respectful and professional approach toward service users, colleagues, family members, and others we encounter in our work. Here's what you'll be working with: - Assist with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits, as well as support during meals - Work according to person-centered care where you adapt support based on the individual's unique needs and preferences - Administer medication, which means you will need to receive delegation from licensed personnel - Support with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and minor shopping in the local area - Participate in social activities and provide guidance and support - Document according to guidelines and create and follow care plans to ensure quality and safe care - Collaborate with colleagues, unit managers, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, and work with family members - Follow workplace routines and guidelines - Act as a contact person or primary care contact and work with the individual to plan how services should be delivered Hässleholm Municipality wants to create the best conditions for a sustainable working life so you can thrive, feel well, and experience job satisfaction. You are a trained nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and strong knowledge of Swedish, in reading, speaking, and writing. We would appreciate it if you have experience from care work, but it is not a requirement.
