The Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine (HLM) operational area at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) consists of four sections: heart failure and valves, arrhythmia, coronary arteries, and lung and allergy units. We provide highly specialized cardiac and respiratory care at both Lund and Malmö locations. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (HIA) is the country's largest center for treating acute heart disease and we deliver high-tech care. After some time with us, you'll be equally comfortable receiving a patient directly from an ambulance stretcher during an acute heart attack as performing meticulous specialized care for a highly unstable heart failure patient awaiting transplantation. 3 position(s). JOB DUTIES We are seeking nursing assistants for HIA in Lund. Many of our employees have extensive experience in cardiac intensive care, and with this solid expertise, we are ready to welcome both experienced and newly graduated colleagues. As a nursing assistant at HIA, you work with seriously ill cardiac patients with diagnoses such as acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmia. In your daily work, you work in a team together with nurses and physicians. Your responsibilities include patient-centered care and monitoring of vital parameters. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to previous or current program structures, preferably with a focus on acute care/healthcare. You should also have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and experience from inpatient somatic care. Previous experience working in acute and intensive care is an advantage. As a person, you are flexible and have the ability to work independently. You also have a forward-thinking attitude with an interest in development and learning. You contribute by sharing your knowledge, have strong commitment, and a positive outlook.
