We are now recruiting motivated nursing assistants for home care in Södra Sandby! Here you will work close to people, create security, and help elderly individuals live independent lives at home. You will become part of a dedicated team where compassion and quality are in focus. About the role and your responsibilities Your work is guided by the needs of the individuals you support. A typical workday may include providing support and assistance with personal care, care work, medical tasks performed under delegation from a nurse, and other assistance as needed. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of our services and maintaining high quality. Right now we are looking for nursing assistants who can work daytime hours. Working hours are typically between 07:00–15:00. The position involves working every other weekend. With us, you have the opportunity to work in different roles. As a permanent care contact, you have special responsibility for your clients. You create and follow up on implementation plans. Our staff is organized in smaller teams where 2–3 permanent care contacts, together with a floater, are responsible for a group of clients. Work is done in close collaboration, and when needed, floaters support other clients outside their own group. As a resource, you work flexibly across multiple home care areas. You step in where the need is greatest and provide security, warmth, and compassion to people who truly need it. We are looking for you We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with previous experience working in healthcare and care. You speak Swedish well, both verbally and in writing, and have good digital skills, for example to be able to document. Since working in home care involves traveling between different clients' homes by bicycle, you need to be comfortable cycling. A driver's license is a merit. You are responsible, engaged, flexible, and attentive—with clients, family members, and colleagues. You understand how important it is that every individual is involved and has influence over their daily life. About the workplace Home Care Södra Sandby shares facilities with the elderly home Fästan on Backgatan. From there we cycle out to clients who live throughout the village. For longer distances and evening hours, we also have car routes. Lund Municipality's home care is divided into several geographic areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care workers work in teams with healthcare personnel under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area has a unit administrator and coordinator/planner.
