As a nursing assistant in home care, you'll have an independent and varied role where you build relationships and create security in people's daily lives. Together with dedicated colleagues, you'll be an important part of ensuring our clients can live as independently as possible in their own homes. Your Responsibilities The tasks are diverse and can include personal care, mobility assistance, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, activities, accompaniment, and delegated health care services. In your work, you'll notice changes in clients early on, allowing us to work preventively together. Through your regular visits, you'll build a close and trusting relationship with each client. You'll also serve as a primary contact for a number of clients. This means you'll develop a care plan together and be responsible for ensuring planned services are carried out in the best way possible. Documentation is an important part of the work, and you'll also act as a link between the client, family members, and other important people in the client's life. Collaboration with other professionals, such as home health nurses, rehabilitation specialists, and care coordinators happens regularly in work around the client. We are now recruiting for our units Centrum Norr, Väster, and Öster. Here, a bicycle is your primary work tool, giving you the opportunity to stay active and move around during your workday. These are full-time positions. Working hours are scheduled for daytime, evenings, and every other weekend. The schedule is planned in four-week cycles and adapted to the needs of the business and clients. Your Qualifications No two days are alike with us. As a nursing assistant, you need to be flexible, solution-oriented, and confident in prioritizing your tasks based on the business and clients' needs. You work both independently and with colleagues, which means you need to be able to make your own decisions while contributing to good cooperation and positive teamwork. You are empathetic, service-minded, and have a genuine interest in care and nursing. It's also important that you enjoy development and can easily adapt to the business's needs. You are trained as a nursing assistant. Experience working in healthcare is a merit, but we also welcome newly graduated nursing assistants to apply. Since documentation and communication are important parts of the work, we want you to be comfortable with various digital tools and have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. The work is physically active, and you move between our clients during the day by bicycle. Therefore, you need to be in good physical condition with good mobility and enjoy work where you're on the move and meet our clients in their everyday lives. It is also a merit if you have: worked with people with dementia or mental health issues knowledge of and experience with low-arousal approaches experience mentoring others, such as new employees or colleagues experience as a contact person in care and nursing experience with extended delegations Finnish language skills. If you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, you can instead provide an employment certificate from your employer. Before you can be employed, you need to provide a valid extract from the police's criminal record register. Probationary employment may be applied. During the interview, you'll need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or personal certificate together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must provide proof of a valid work permit or be exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
