The Social Services Department is responsible for services, support and assistance to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are governed primarily by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act and the Health and Medical Services Act, and shall implement measures regulated by these laws. All operations are centered on the individual in order to meet the individual's needs. The assignment involves strong customer focus and service mindset.

DUTIES
As a nursing assistant in Motala Municipality's home care service, you work to provide our clients with good care and support based on their individual needs and wishes. You shall respectfully guide, support and motivate the client to manage their daily routines in the best way according to their own ability.
We offer varied work with a focus on daily care activities. You perform tasks related to personal care, assistance with meals, social interaction, accompaniment, service tasks, etc. You will also perform health and medical care tasks by delegation and document in our medical record systems.
As a nursing assistant within the municipality, you will be a permanent care contact, which means you actively work to create safe and trust-based relationships. The work requires great commitment and that you actively participate in developing and improving the operations.
We are now seeking nursing assistants for several of our units within home care, both centrally and in outlying areas.
Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, evenings and weekends, including public holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS
Formal competencies:
• Care and support education - You should have completed care and support education and have a completed degree.
• Good IT skills - Experience using the computer as a tool in your work and easily adapt to new digital tools.
• Good Swedish language skills - You have good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish as the work involves documentation and extensive dialogue with colleagues and clients.
• It is an advantage if you can cycle
• Driving license category B - It is an advantage if you have a driving license
Personal competencies:
• You are stable and confident in yourself, handle stress in a constructive manner and maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks. You maintain a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right things.
• You take active initiative in social settings, step forward and find it easy to create new relationships and maintain relationships.
• You are calm, attentive and accommodating in your manner. You have interest, willingness and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, start date: Selection, interviews and recruitment will take place on an ongoing basis during the notice period.
