Our operational area consists of three sections: endocrinology, nephrology, and rheumatology. Within the endocrinology section, there are diabetes, foot care, and endocrine clinics in both Malmö and Lund. In Malmö, we also have our obesity clinic. We are responsible for the Southern healthcare region and provide highly specialized university and regional healthcare. Inpatient endocrinological care is provided at the endocrinology department. At the endocrinology department, patients with various hormonal diseases are cared for and evaluated. The most common diagnoses are type 1 diabetes, complicated type 2 diabetes, and endocrine diseases where thyroid and pituitary disease predominate. 3 position(s). WORK TASKS At our department, we work in three teams, each consisting of one nurse and one to two nursing assistants. Each team is responsible for six to seven patients. Doctors and physiotherapists also work closely with the team. As a new employee with us, you will receive individual orientation based on your existing competence. We can also offer you excellent development opportunities through training in specialized endocrine care. Important support functions at the department include medical secretaries, a dietitian, a foot care therapist, and a diabetes nurse. Together, we work toward excellent care where the patient's well-being is always in focus. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are a requirement. It is advantageous if you have clinical experience as a nursing assistant and specialized training in diabetes care.
