At Bråddgatan 31 Home Care Service, we are currently a wonderful and engaged team of 43 employees who provide services in ordinary housing. We consist of three care teams that deliver services throughout central Norrköping. As a nursing assistant with us, you will work with two unit managers who practice close and trust-based leadership, and you'll have the opportunity to work in the heart of the city with easy access to everything. We are a growing operation with more clients, so we are now recruiting six new colleagues who want to join us and create the right conditions to provide our clients with the best possible care! Your responsibilities Working in home care at Bråddgatan gives you a concrete opportunity to make a difference in people's everyday lives. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing individually adapted care, services, and support that are based on each client's needs, wishes, and circumstances. Our clients' needs guide the workday, and your tasks may include personal care, support services, meal assistance, walks, accompaniment, and social interaction. Through respectful and professional conduct, you contribute to creating security, participation, and a meaningful everyday life for the individual. An important part of the role is to motivate, support, and where needed, help clients maintain and develop their independence in everyday activities. You document services according to applicable guidelines, create and follow up on care plans, and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure good and safe care and support. The role also includes taking on delegated tasks as required by the operation. We work from a professional, person-centered, and rehabilitative approach where the client's needs, participation, and self-determination are always at the center. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant according to the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations. We view it positively if you have experience working in health and care, as well as experience in service professions. We see that you are confident, flexible, and responsible as a person. You take your own initiative while understanding the operation's frameworks, routines, and mission. You adapt easily to changing situations and work methods and see opportunities even when circumstances change. You gain energy from meeting others and building meaningful relationships. With the client's needs in focus, you have the ability to listen, understand, and adapt your support based on each person's individual circumstances and wishes. Through professional and respectful conduct, you contribute to security and high-quality care. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, willingly share knowledge and information, and actively contribute to a positive work environment. You see the value of working together to find good solutions and create the best conditions for our clients. In your role as a nursing assistant, you have a calm and accommodating manner, even in stressful situations. You can prioritize, make assessments, and make well-founded decisions based on the client's needs and the operation's goals. You take responsibility for your tasks and act with good judgment in your daily work. You communicate well in Swedish both verbally and in writing and have good computer skills.
