About the Workplace Bålsta's four senior care facilities are located in the central areas of Bålsta, Håbo Municipality. Buses run to Västerås, Enköping, Uppsala, and Märsta. Solängen is located at Dalvägen 7. It has 40 places with a dementia focus. Pomona is located at Plommonvägen 2-4. It has 14 places with a dementia focus and 15 short-term/respite care places. Parkgården is located at Västerhagsvägen 17. It has 60 places with dementia and somatic care focus. We work based on the health and care administration's core values with professional service characterized by kindness, humility, respect, and consideration with the individual in focus. Your Tasks You assist residents with practical help and support in daily situations based on each person's individual needs. This applies to all relevant work tasks including care, social activities, activities, meals, laundry, shopping, etc. We work from a holistic perspective of the resident and collaborate in a team with other professionals such as nurses, occupational and physical therapists, as well as with family members and other important people in the resident's life. Social documentation, delegated health and care tasks, and contact person responsibilities are included in the position. In your work, you will have the opportunity to experience the joy of contributing to providing our residents with good care and security. We are now seeking engaged team members who can work on a traditional schedule with day and evening shifts and work every other weekend. Several positions are available at each facility; the positions are part-time. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant through a health and care program or equivalent. To succeed in this work, you need to have experience working in elderly care so that you feel confident in your professional role. You should also speak and read/write good Swedish. Further education in the field of dementia is a merit. Håbo Municipality is a Swedish-Finnish administrative area, so knowledge of the Finnish language is a merit.
