JOB DUTIES As a nursing assistant at Åre Municipality, you are an important part of creating security, quality of life, and meaning for people in their daily lives. You work with individually tailored care and support where the individual's integrity, self-determination, and participation are central. You provide personal care based on individual needs and perform delegated health and medical care tasks, such as specific care and rehabilitation. Documentation in our management systems is also an important part of the work to ensure good quality and continuity in care. Positions exist within several of the municipality's operations and include day, evening, and night shifts. In your application, you have the opportunity to indicate which geographic areas or operations you prefer to work in, as well as whether you prefer day/evening or night shifts. We consider your preferences, while placement is based on operational needs. Positions are full-time, with the possibility to request a different employment level. QUALIFICATIONS Nursing Assistants • We are looking for you who have proof of the right to use the professional title nursing assistant according to Socialstyrelsen or you who are awaiting your professional title. • It is a merit if you have a few years of experience working as a nursing assistant in elderly care, you have worked with medications and are expected to be able to have delegation for, among other things, insulin, and feel confident and independent in making decisions in your professional role. • You can document what is relevant in a clear and thorough manner, in accordance with the workplace's procedures and health care and social services legislation. • Since documentation and medication management are important parts of the professional role, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. • A driver's license is required to work in home care; for work in special housing it is a merit but not a requirement.
