About the Job As a nursing assistant, you hold an important role in society. Änggårdsbacken care and housing facility, located at Per Dubbsgatan 4, near Sahlgrenska University Hospital, currently has a total of 169 beds distributed across three buildings. We are now strengthening our staffing with more employees. We are seeking six nursing assistants for Änggårdsbacken Building A (somatic care focus). We value your commitment and competence. You are the one who makes daily life function and become meaningful. In your work, you focus on the residents' strengths and utilize each individual's resources. You motivate and stimulate residents based on their individual circumstances in their own home, which is part of the care and housing facility. Your duties include personal care as well as encouragement and support in social activities during all hours of the day. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed healthcare staff. Part of your work also involves planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on care work with residents. All social documentation is done digitally. This is a 24-hour operation where your working hours are scheduled. At some facilities, we collaborate between departments, which means you may need to assist in another department when needed. These are permanent full-time positions. Working hours are scheduled for day shifts, evening shifts, or night shifts, as well as every other weekend. About You Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and can show certification from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the protected professional title, or alternatively can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced. The role requires computer skills for documentation and incident handling in various IT systems, as well as strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in care and support. You enjoy collaborating with others and have good communication skills. In your role, you meet many people, which requires you to work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your interactions, and always keep the residents' best interests in focus. The workday can sometimes be different from planned because you work with people; therefore, you remain calm, balance different demands, and reprioritize your tasks.
