Soon we're opening the doors to Järfälla Municipality's newly built Care and Housing Facility! Would you like to be part of the journey from the start and help us create something new together? Then keep reading! Almens Care and Housing Facility is a new and modern residential setting that offers a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for seniors. The facility has 54 units distributed across six departments and four floors, with both somatic and dementia-focused care. There are generous spaces for activities and social gatherings, while the peaceful residential area around the facility offers lovely walking paths and opportunities for outdoor time. Although we're moving into brand new premises, we're not a completely new operation. It's Linden's fantastic staff who form the backbone of our team and who bring their expertise, sense of community, and joy of work into the new facility. We are a star-rated Care and Housing Facility, which means we actively work with competence development and person-centered care for people with dementia. JOB DUTIES As a nursing assistant at Almens Care and Housing Facility, you help create a meaningful, safe, and joyful everyday life for our seniors. Together with engaged colleagues, you work across several of our departments, where collaboration and care permeate everything we do. We support each other in our daily work and are guided by national values and Individual-Centered Care (IBIC). No two days are the same with us. That's why you need to be flexible and able to adapt to different situations that arise throughout the day. One moment you're helping a resident with personal care, the next you might be sorting out the technology so that a video call with grandchildren works, or you might join someone on a walk in the sunshine. It's precisely this variety that makes the work so rewarding. Most importantly, you always work from the individual's needs and contribute to a safe and pleasant environment. You work according to a schedule with day, evening, and night shifts, and every other weekend. Work hours vary based on operational needs, which means a day shift might start at 06.55 and an evening shift might end at 22.00. Your main duties include: • Provide personal care and assistance • Contribute to social community and security • Plan and carry out activities that create meaningful content in daily life • Perform service tasks, such as cleaning, based on each resident's individual needs • Be a contact person for a number of residents • Document according to IBIC in LifeCare To thrive with us, you need to be flexible, solution-oriented, and have a good sense of humor. QUALIFICATIONS You must be a trained nursing assistant with a protected title from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare, and have worked at a care and housing facility before. If you have further education within your field and/or taken on various responsibility roles, that's a big plus. You also need to understand what we mean by IBIC—that is, what it means to put the individual's needs at the center and how to do it in practice. You speak, understand, and write good Swedish and can therefore document and communicate as needed. And if you speak Finnish, that's also an asset, as Järfälla Municipality is a Finnish administrative area. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
