Your Assignment Nacka Senior Center consists of four operations in Finntorp, Ektorp, Saltsjöbaden, and Saltsjö-Boo, which are Nacka Municipality's elderly care homes run by the municipality. Here we offer specialized housing with both somatic and dementia-focused units with social activities and home-cooked meals. As a nursing assistant with us, you work closely with residents, family members, and colleagues. You plan and provide care based on individual needs with a focus on person-centered care, participation, and quality of life. Your work includes, among other things: - care and nursing - simple health and medical interventions - supervision and alarm handling - documentation according to current procedures - participation in activities and meals - possible contact person responsibilities The work involves independent responsibility while you are part of an engaged team where collaboration is crucial. Working hours: day, evening, and weekend shifts between 07:00–21:00 or night shift 21:00-07:00 Your Experience Requirements: - Experience working or extended internship in care and health services - Ability to work independently and take responsibility in daily work - Experience with documentation - Excellent Swedish, spoken and written - You must be at least 18 years old Meritorious: - Trained nursing assistant (professional certification and complete grades) - Experience working in senior care - Experience with low-affective approach - Experience with delegated health and medical tasks (e.g., medication, insulin, feeding tubes) - Experience working with dementia disorders - Knowledge of vital signs and specimen collection Is This You? As a temporary worker, you are employed by Stab Competence Supply within Nacka Municipality, which is responsible for coordinating and quality-assuring staffing of care personnel for short-term absences and monthly temporary work. As a summer temporary worker, you will work at one or more of our operations depending on how much you want to work during the summer. We offer you the opportunity to work as a temporary worker both before and after your summer temporary work.
