Are you a trained nursing assistant who enjoys working nights in a varied role? We are now recruiting two committed nursing assistants for our night patrol! Both positions are at 98%. Here you will have varied work where you make a difference for the people we serve, every night. Support in Ordinary Housing is an area within the department for Elderly and Disabilities with the task of providing support and care services to elderly persons. Units within Support in Ordinary Housing include home care, night and alarm patrol, safe home departure, and a dementia team. Together we work to provide our customers with the best care and service. The night patrol provides services for users with Night Assistance or digital supervision as an approved support service. The work ranges from simple physical or digital supervision visits to more extensive care needs. The night patrol does not have medical responsibility—that is handled by other providers. We have 17 employees who support each other, a group leader, and a unit manager. We operate from Jacobsberg Center and work throughout Järfälla Municipality! WORK DUTIES The night patrol provides assistance to people following a schedule containing the services the person has been approved for. Continuity is important so that users feel secure about when and by whom services are provided. Since the work is performed in the user's home, it is important to be able to adapt flexibly with professional conduct and great attentiveness to the user's condition. Your assignment includes being a fixed care contact where you are responsible for, among other things, implementing care plans in collaboration with your team colleagues. You will also have other administrative tasks such as ongoing social documentation, handovers to other home care providers, and collaboration with the Alarm Patrol, etc. Smoking and pets may be present in some users' homes. The night patrol has five car teams running each night, and you always work in pairs visiting users, except for two single-staffed cars where you work alone (occasional visits are double-staffed when the single-staffed cars meet up at the user's home). Collaboration with solution focus and good communication within the team with colleagues is an important aspect of our operations. The night patrol shares premises with the Alarm Patrol at night, and cooperation between the groups is important. We work on a rotating eight-week schedule with work every other weekend. Working hours are 21:30-07:00. You are also expected to participate in developing operations by reporting deviations and contributing to improvement work. As part of this, you participate in monthly workplace meetings (APT) and are a good colleague with professional conduct in all contact points. You work together as a team based on jointly set goals, following routines and laws and regulations for user safety! The night patrol is a communication-intensive unit that requires self-leadership and that you are accustomed to working with transparency and adherence to rules and routines. The night patrol is star-marked according to Dementia Center standards, and employees are trained in MHFA (First Aid for Mental Health). We work with, among other things, Lifecare Mobile Care and Lifecare providers. QUALIFICATIONS To be suitable for this position, you need to have: • Nursing assistant certification with protected title issued according to the National Board of Health and Welfare procedures • B-class driver's license with documented experience driving a service vehicle legally and acting as a good representative for the municipality • At least 2 years of home care experience. Experience from SÄBO/LSS/Psychiatry is a merit. • Experience with night work • Good computer skills are a merit as a large part of internal communication is conducted digitally (via, among others, confidential email) • Experience with social documentation and writing care plans, as well as knowledge of IBIC • Excellent Swedish language skills both spoken and written We consider it a merit if you have experience working with people with cognitive impairment (mainly dementia) or mental health issues.
