Within our social care administration, approximately 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those who need it in our municipality. Work takes place within elderly care, home care, support for people with disabilities, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care. In the rural areas of Svarte and Löderup, our home care teams work closely with users who have both cognitive illnesses and need for physical care. Here you'll have the opportunity to combine independent work with proximity to both people and our beautiful countryside. Home care in Löderup operates from Löderupgården, while Svarte home care is based at Regementsområdet in Ystad. 3 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like a job where every encounter matters? As a care assistant with us, you are a key person in our users' daily lives. You meet people in their own homes and create security and dignity based on their individual needs. Your work tasks involve more than just care and may include: • Provide personal care with respect, warmth, and professionalism. • Support with daily activities such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, and laundry. • Create social security through conversation, presence, and engagement. • Perform delegated healthcare services, such as medication administration. • Work independently with planning your visits. • Be an important link between users, relatives, and colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS To be qualified for this position, you must have: • Training as a care assistant with a protected professional title. • Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written (at least passing grades in basic Swedish from grade 9 or SFI D). • Cycling experience. • Category B driver's license. Meritorious qualifications include previous experience in care work, home care, and education and experience with cognitive illness. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and empathetic with a natural ability to meet people with respect and consideration. You have an easy time creating safe and trusting relationships with our users and their relatives. You are attentive and flexible in your approach, see each person's unique needs, and adapt to different situations and circumstances. At the same time, you are responsible and stable, work in a structured manner, and take your own initiative when needed. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team and contribute to a positive and respectful work environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability! Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-21. Start date by agreement. Working hours: Shift work. Evening hours with on-call every other weekend.
