We at Papegojelyckan are now seeking nursing assistants with specialist competence in dementia or nursing assistants with several years of experience in the field. The positions are permanent at 100%, but we are also seeking nursing assistants for shorter and longer temporary assignments. Papegojelyckan is located in western Lund and consists of 24 apartments distributed across three units. We provide housing for individuals with cognitive illnesses and/or psychiatric diagnoses. To succeed in this role, you need good experience working with individuals with cognitive illnesses and/or psychiatric diagnoses. Good knowledge of BPSD (behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia) and related documentation is an asset. We operate in a changing environment and need to adapt to residents' needs and circumstances, so you must have a positive attitude toward change and development. We also want you to be flexible and responsive, both with residents and families, as well as with your new colleagues. Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required for documentation and communication. About the role and responsibilities As a nursing assistant, you will be part of a multiprofessional team. You contribute your professional expertise. Through close collaboration with your manager, nurses, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and other team members, you ensure that the individual's needs are at the center. The work involves care based on the resident's approved services, wishes, and needs, as well as delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act. The role also includes being a contact person and holding responsibility areas. You develop implementation plans, document in Lifecare, evaluate, and contribute to maintaining high quality in the facility, as well as follow up on quality in national registers such as the BPSD register, SweDem, and Senior Alert. We work based on the national core values in elderly care, with keywords being self-determination, participation, and individualized care. For scheduled employment, we offer a favorable full-time position of 36 hours and 20 minutes per week. You will work days and evenings, plus every other weekend.
