We are now seeking dedicated nursing assistants for our care home, Kvänumsgården.
Kvänumsgården is centrally located in Kvänum, approximately a five-minute walk from the grocery store and bus stop.
Kvänumsgården is a specialized residential facility for persons with dementia and geropsychiatric conditions (mental health disorders in elderly). The facility has 18 beds distributed across two units: Vitsippan with nine dementia beds and Blåsippan with nine geropsychiatric beds.
Each floor has a common dining hall and day room with an enclosed outdoor space with infrared heating that we can enjoy from early spring to late autumn.
Tornumsgården care home is adjoined to Kvänumsgården and is a specialized residential facility with 22 beds distributed across two floors: Linden and Birch.
The unit consists of Kvänumsgården and Tornumsgården. The units collaborate and staff can cover shifts at each other's facilities.
Your Role

All staff have a responsibility to improve operations. For this, we use continuous improvements and focus groups to meet the social welfare board's goals in our operational plan.
We work in a planned and structured manner to provide quality services to our residents. We use a fixed schedule staffed according to operational needs.
Your Knowledge and Experience
To be qualified for the position, you must have proof of the protected professional title Nursing Assistant from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare or a service certificate with an ongoing permanent employment titled Nursing Assistant.
It is beneficial if you have dementia care experience.
It is beneficial if you have KY dementia or elderly psychiatry training.
It is also beneficial if you are specialist trained.
Good interpersonal skills are essential in our operations, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
You are engaged, responsible, and proactive in providing residents with a meaningful daily life by creating significance, comprehensibility, and manageability.
You are calm and confident and have the ability to plan activities for your work shifts.
You are flexible and can quickly adapt and modify services based on changing circumstances.
Documentation and health care tasks based on delegation are part of the work.
Since Swedish is the common working language at the workplace, you need to master the language, both verbally and in writing, at the level required by the job tasks.

You also need to present a passport or valid ID card. A driver's license can be presented together with a personal certificate obtained from skatteverket.se using Bank-ID; we can do this at a scheduled interview.
Access to mobile Bank-ID for use, as it is required for verification in our operational systems.

2 Permanent positions with scheduled hours for day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends.
