We are looking for an experienced and confident care assistant who wants to work in a flexible operation with varying tasks and quick transitions, where the focus is always on those we serve. In line with Eskilstuna Municipality's goal of strengthening continuity, quality, and staffing in care and housing facilities, we have started a pool operation that supports all care and housing facilities in Eskilstuna. As a permanent employee, you work full-time and replace regular staff during planned or acute absences. The role involves a flexible work approach where you quickly switch between different workplaces and situations, always with the residents' needs in focus. 14 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a care assistant in the care pool, you work closely with residents and contribute to a safe, active, and meaningful everyday life through support and care based on individual needs. As a care assistant, you work in a motivating, supportive manner and provide our residents with a meaningful, safe, and active daily life. You provide support and service based on each person's individual needs. You collaborate with other staff, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. In the role, you have delegated tasks, work with personal care and documentation. We work with digital methods where you document in the journal system Viva and sign completed work in Appva. You have a base schedule that can change at short notice, both regarding working hours and workplaces. The work suits you if you thrive in a flexible role where you quickly adapt to new routines, workplaces, and colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant with at least two years of experience in care work within care and housing facilities or similar operations. You are confident in your professional role and used to meeting residents with different needs. Experience with delegated health and medical care tasks is a requirement. You feel confident working with delegation and have good experience performing these tasks in daily work. You have good digital skills with experience of journal systems where you document, search for information, and report. It is an advantage if you have worked with implementation plans, interaction plans, and care plans. Experience in dementia care and a person-centered work approach is valued, as is experience from staffing or pool operations. You thrive in a varying work environment where conditions can change quickly and you meet many different individuals and workplaces. You work independently, follow instructions, and adapt to new tasks. As a person, you are confident, stable, and calm with the ability to see what needs to be done. In this recruitment, we use language testing. A current police clearance certificate must be presented before employment.
