JOB DUTIES Work as a nursing assistant is varied, developmental, and educational. You work close to the patient in a team together with nurses and other professionals. Work duties vary depending on the operation and the patients' needs. Within psychiatric healthcare, you work, among other things, with: • Providing basic care and psychiatric support • Participating in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of care measures • Contributing to the patient's care plan • Strengthening the patient's participation in care and treatment • Collaborating with next of kin and other care providers • Documenting in medical record systems • Following basic hygiene procedures and dress codes Within somatic healthcare, you work, among other things, with: • Providing basic care • Measuring and monitoring the patient's vital parameters • Preventing falls and pressure ulcers • Supporting the patient's nutrition and oral health • Performing wound care, mobilization, and blood sampling • Documenting in medical record systems • Following basic hygiene procedures and dress codes With us you get: • The opportunity to work at one or more care units and broaden your expertise • Varied work where the patient's individual needs are in focus • Work in a team with committed colleagues to provide the best possible care • Good opportunities to develop in your role as a nursing assistant QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who collaborates well with others and contributes to a good work environment. You take responsibility for your tasks and see what needs to be done. When conditions change, you can adapt and remain calm even in pressured situations. You work with care for the patient and contribute to safe and secure care. We would like to see that you have experience within healthcare. To work as a nursing assistant with us, you need to: • Have a degree from the care and nursing program or have completed/started at least the third term of the nursing program • Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing • Have basic computer skills since documentation is done digitally • Be able to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends • Not have another occupation that encompasses more than 50 percent (exceptions may be made for ongoing healthcare education) Information about the recruitment process: Since selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, we recommend that you submit your application with attached grades/diploma from nursing assistant training or proof of protected professional title as soon as possible! For work performed within psychiatry as well as in direct and regular contact with children, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented before employment begins. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: Start according to agreement, but we would like the introduction to begin no later than December 1st.
