WORK TASKS Work as a nursing assistant is varied, developmental, and educational. You work close to the patient in a team together with nurses and other professionals. Work tasks vary depending on the operation and patients' needs. Within psychiatric healthcare, you work with, among other things: • Providing basic care and psychiatric support • Participating in planning, implementation, and follow-up of care measures • Contributing to work with the patient's care plan • Strengthening the patient's participation in care and treatment • Collaborating with relatives and other care providers • Documenting in journal systems • Following basic hygiene routines and dress codes Within somatic healthcare, you work with, among other things: • Providing basic care • Measuring and monitoring the patient's vital parameters • Preventing falls and pressure ulcers • Supporting the patient's nutrition and oral health • Performing wound care, mobilization, and blood sampling • Documenting in journal systems • Following basic hygiene routines and dress codes With us you get: • Opportunity to work at one or more care units and broaden your expertise • Varied work where the patient's individual needs are in focus • Work in a team with engaged colleagues to provide the best possible care • Good opportunities to develop in your professional role as a nursing assistant QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who collaborates well with others and contributes to a good work environment. You take responsibility for your work tasks and see what needs to be done. When conditions change, you can adapt and remain calm even in pressured situations. You work with care for the patient and contribute to safe and secure care. We would like to see that you have experience within healthcare. To work as a nursing assistant with us, you need to: • Have a diploma from a care and nursing program or have completed/started at least the third term of the nursing program • Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing • Have basic computer skills since documentation is done digitally • Be able to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts • Not have another employment that covers more than 50 percent (exceptions may be made for ongoing healthcare education) Information about the recruitment process: Since selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, we recommend that you submit your application with attached grades/diploma from nursing assistant education or proof of protected professional title as soon as possible! For work carried out within psychiatry and in direct and regular contact with children, a police clearance certificate must be presented before the start of employment. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: Start by agreement, but we would like the introduction to begin no later than December 1st.
