The position is located in the Social Services Department, which works to offer residents of Gnesta Municipality good and accessible services based on individual needs. We are responsible for the municipality's care for individuals and families, the elderly, persons with disabilities, municipal health and medical services, as well as employment, integration and adult education. The department works on behalf of the Social Services Committee. As some of our employees have moved on in their careers, we at Gnesta Home Care Center Group need to recruit several nursing assistants. We are a work group consisting of 28 Nursing Assistants/care attendants, 2 coordinators and 1 unit manager. We work according to schedules arranged in Timecare; we use schedules laid out 4 weeks in advance, we work day/evening shifts and every other weekend. We operate from our office located in the same building as Gnesta Health Center, and we serve the central parts of Gnesta. We walk or use our e-bikes in our daily work. We have a vehicle used daily, so a driver's license is desirable for this position. We document digitally in the Treserva system, medications are signed digitally, our coordinators handle our daily planning in the TES system, and our work phones are our tools when we are out working. 3 position(s). JOB DUTIES Your day at work You work as a professional nursing assistant based on the individual's implementation plan, care decision, wishes and needs. You want to and work to ensure the individual is in focus and you strive to be curious about how good and safe care in the individual's home is shaped in cooperation with the individual and their family members if applicable. You help and support the individual based on the care decision and your intuition. You work according to the implementation plan and perform delegated tasks from the nurse. It is important that all our employees have knowledge of the Social Services Act, and we expect that you do too. You are interested in developing our activities for the better with good ideas and good cooperation, and we expect you to contribute your commitment, knowledge and experience. The position is 75%. QUALIFICATIONS • Trained nursing assistant • You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. • You are a comfortable computer user and experienced with various programs on mobile phones. • You can document according to the Social Services Act • You have previous experience working in home care and experience working with individuals with dementia diagnoses/mental health issues. It is meritable if you: • Want to develop in your profession and have experience taking responsibility for your own areas such as social documentation and basic hygiene. • Have knowledge of palliative care • Are accustomed to receiving students/trainees Employment form: Permanent employment.
