At Åtvidaberg Municipality, we work with courage, holistic perspective, and long-term thinking in everything we do. We are seeking nursing assistants/care assistants for Kopparsvanen Eldercare 1-7! As one of our units transforms into a dementia-specialized unit, we are now strengthening our staffing and seeking dedicated team members who want to contribute to safety and care at our eldercare facility, around the clock. Our goal is to deliver quality services through good planning with both residents and staff in focus. Your Tasks As part of your role, you will be responsible for providing individualized care work according to the current care plan at Kopparsvanen Eldercare 1-7. You help residents with personal hygiene, dressing, meals, and work to create a sense of safety and provide social support. You contribute to giving our residents meaningful days and strive to maintain their wellbeing. Your tasks also include observing and reporting changes in health status, ensuring proper documentation, and handling medications according to delegation. The work requires great responsibility, independence, and good collaboration with colleagues. Your tasks also include serving as a contact person for one or two residents in the unit. As a contact person, you maintain dialogue with family members and ensure that the care plan is kept up to date. About You We welcome applications from those with nursing assistant training, and experience in care work within dementia is a merit. To succeed in this role, we see that you are flexible, attentive, and have good empathetic abilities. We see that you are self-directed and take responsibility for your tasks with the individual in focus. We also see that you remain calm and stable in stressful situations and work well with others. Documentation is an important part of the work and requires good language proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as some computer skills. About the Position This is a permanent position, either part-time or full-time, according to your preference. Start date by agreement.
