JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your tasks involve providing care, assistance, and support to our residents in the dementia unit at Bompabackens elderly care home. As a nursing assistant/care worker, you are part of the daily work to help individuals maintain good living conditions based on different circumstances and needs. You should collaborate with the environment and work solution-focused to meet the individual's needs while respecting their right to self-determination, integrity, and influence. A large part of the position involves traditional care and support work. Your duties may include: - Promoting social community and activities - Assisting with personal care such as showering, toileting, help with meals, etc. - Documenting and administering medication (delegation test conducted upon employment) - Planning and implementing daily activities - Guiding and supporting the individual in a lifestyle that prevents poor health, including nutrition, physical activity, and social stimulation - Working pedagogically Work is scheduled during daytime between approximately 07:00-21:30. You work day or evening shifts plus every other weekend. We have a fixed basic schedule. We can offer great variety in the work as our operations consist of a dementia unit, a group residence, and a home care team. We work across department boundaries when needed and also work with resource shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We would like you to be a trained nursing assistant. We consider it a merit if you have previous experience working in dementia care. Additionally, the role requires that you can handle a digital patient record system and that you have good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. The position requires that you can independently plan your work to meet the needs that arise for those who need our assistance. We hope that you have a B driver's license. We are looking for someone with a professional approach who always has good communication skills, who believes in mutual respect, and who is humble. The work requires that you are flexible in how your day can unfold, that you have good initiative, collaboration skills, and enjoy solving problems. Salary form: Monthly salary. Salary range: The salary for the position currently falls within the range of 26,200-34,000 per month, based on 2025 salary levels. Employment form: Permanent employment.
