Job Duties Dalsätra is a special residential facility with 20 apartments located in Myrviken with proximity to nature and walking distance to shops and bus stops. A special residential facility is a housing form for elderly people who have extensive needs for care and support around the clock, and can no longer live in their own home. Care staff are available at the residential facilities in the municipality around the clock, using a daily rehabilitation approach. The work should be characterized by a holistic perspective, respect and commitment. As a nursing assistant/care worker at Dalsätra, you join a competent work team. You work to provide care and social support to our residents and service users who need help managing their daily lives. Our work is based on the individual's needs and wishes, where dialogue and collaboration are important tools for achieving high-quality care. By working with us, you contribute to creating an environment for the individual characterized by community, togetherness, participation and activity. The work tasks consist of helping people with, for example: hygiene, dressing and cleaning as well as supporting during meals. Work tasks delegated by licensed healthcare personnel may also occur. Collaboration is a very important part of your work day and you work together with your closest colleagues and healthcare personnel for the individual. The work tasks also include documentation and contact with family members. Qualifications We are looking for someone with previous experience working in elderly care and/or healthcare. Training as a nursing assistant is an advantage. Communication and documentation are important tools in the work, which requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality and we therefore consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of South Sámi language and culture.
