Welcome to Valla Care and Housing Facility, a specialist residential home with four departments located in central Örnsköldsvik. Duties As a team member, your primary task is to provide support, motivation and care to our residents. We work in a health-promoting manner with the aim of strengthening individuals' own abilities and ensuring that everyone living with us has the opportunity to live life, fully. Participation, development and community are key words for us, where continuous improvements create the conditions for achieving good quality. Duties include personal care, contact person responsibilities as well as social and physical activities together with our residents. We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups have the common goal of creating good quality of life and a good environment for our residents. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or have other education or experience that the employer considers sufficient. We would like to see that you have further education in elderly care and/or dementia or have an educational focus on psychiatry. Experience working within care and support is a merit. It is important that you enjoy working with people and that you are flexible and receptive to new ideas and working methods. A valid driving license, category B is a merit. Include a CV and cover letter with your application. Prior to any employment, a police certificate from the police records register must be presented to the employer. In the welfare administration, approximately 2,500 employees work. The administration is managed by the Welfare Board based on the administration's mission statement - "Together we facilitate people's opportunity to live a meaningful life" - we work to achieve the municipality's vision: We build best together. In connection with an interview, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Approved documents are passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency or other ID document that confirms citizenship. For some positions, certified extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal records register are required. We would appreciate language skills in Finnish and/or one of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsvik municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas. A number of positions in our municipality are placed in security classification, so security clearance may be required.
