Work Duties
As a team member, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our service users. We work with a health-promoting approach aimed at strengthening individuals' own abilities and ensuring that all those receiving our support feel secure living in their own homes. Participation, development, and community are key values for us, where continuous improvements provide the foundation for creating good quality. We work with welfare technology to increase safety, participation, and independence for our service users.
Work duties include personal care, assistance with household tasks in users' homes, medication management and wound care, documentation, contact person responsibilities, and social and physical activities with our service users. We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups work together with the common goal of creating a good quality of life for our service users. We offer you meaningful work where you have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in palliative care, dementia, rehabilitation-focused approaches, and transfer techniques.
You will currently be assigned to Björna Home Care Services. We also collaborate with nearby areas.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant or has other education/experience that the employer deems sufficient. We would appreciate if you have further training in elderly care and/or dementia or have educational focus in psychiatry. Experience working in care and health services is an advantage. It is important that you enjoy and feel comfortable working with people, and that you are flexible and open to new ideas and work methods.
The position requires sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing to communicate with service users, perform care documentation, and receive medication delegation. A valid driver's license (category B) and access to your own car are required.
