At our group home in Körlinge, Vallentuna, six people with acquired brain injuries live. Here you work in a small team and get to know the people you support well. About the Role As a support assistant, you provide individually tailored support in daily life with the goal of strengthening each person's independence and participation. You need to be able to see what the person can do themselves, when you should motivate and support – and when you need to be nearby. You support activities such as daily routines, leisure activities, and social situations. Cooking and cleaning are a natural part of the work and are carried out based on the individual's circumstances and needs. The work is physically active and includes walks, cleaning, and support with mobility assistance, as well as other daily tasks, such as help with compression stockings. Assistive devices such as lifts are used when needed, but the work requires that you are comfortable with and able to perform physical tasks. The role also includes social documentation and work with implementation plans. You collaborate with residents' networks and other professionals around the individual and perform certain health and medical care tasks by delegation. We are seeking several employees for positions at approximately 80%. Working hours are scheduled and include on-call sleeping shifts. Who Are You? You are confident and attentive and have the ability to adapt your approach to different people and situations. You can work independently and take responsibility while enjoying collaboration and sharing knowledge with your colleagues. Your Experience We are looking for you who have: training as a nursing assistant or support assistant, health and care training with a focus on disabilities, pedagogical education, or other education that the employer deems equivalent experience in care work or other work where you have provided individually tailored support good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing experience with social documentation B-class driver's license and access to a car, as public transportation to Körlinge is limited. It is meritorious if you have experience with LSS, acquired brain injuries, or rehabilitative approaches.
