Job Description
The intensive care unit at Vrinnevis Hospital in Norrköping is part of the anesthesia and intensive care clinic. We provide general intensive care, intermediate care, and postoperative care at our six intensive care beds and three postoperative beds. We serve a catchment area of approximately 170,000 residents and care for approximately 700 intensive care patients and 1,300 postoperative patients annually. We are around 80 employees working in fresh and well-designed facilities.
The tasks of a nursing assistant in intensive care are nursing and technology-intensive in nature and involve monitoring vital functions in critically ill patients. In your role, you work both independently and as part of a team with significant responsibility in advanced nursing care.
You also assist during examinations and procedures.
About You
We are seeking someone with nursing assistant training and work experience in hospital care. We welcome work experience from intensive care and/or acute care/inpatient care. Since you will communicate with patients, relatives, colleagues, and in some cases authorities, it is a requirement that you have good Swedish language skills both orally and in writing.
As a person, you are calm, stable, and have good self-awareness. You are able to remain composed in stressful situations and are attentive and accommodating in your interactions. You are self-motivated, take responsibility for your tasks, and easily adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you work well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and flexible manner. Great importance is placed on personal qualities.

We work rotating shifts around the clock and apply a point-based model for scheduling.
