Pjäsen is a modern and welcoming senior living facility centrally located in Visby, with a total of 100 apartments distributed across four floors. As part of our team, you will work nights according to a fixed base schedule. Occasionally, evening shifts may occur in connection with workplace meetings. We are now recruiting a nursing assistant or residential care assistant for a temporary position starting October 1, 2026, or by agreement, through December 31, 2027. Your Responsibilities As a nursing assistant/residential care assistant, you will, among other things: Perform routine care services during the night. Assist residents with personal care, such as hygiene and mobility. Conduct monitoring and observe changes in residents' needs and well-being. Implement delegated health and medical care services (HSL) in close collaboration with the nursing staff. Create safety, calm, and continuity for our residents during the night hours. Work based on each person's individual needs and circumstances, with respect and attentiveness. Collaborate with colleagues in different departments and, if needed, assist where the need is greatest. Be prepared to work across all operations and support different departments and areas of the facility when the situation requires it. Contribute to good collaboration, responsibility, and a safe and dignified night for our residents. For the position of nursing assistant in specialized housing, the starting salary range is 29,000–33,438 kronor per month. For the position of residential care assistant in specialized housing, the starting salary range is 25,720–30,946 kronor per month. We apply individual salary setting. Final salary is determined based on education, relevant experience, competence, and responsibility in the role as well as in accordance with applicable collective agreements. Who Are You? We are primarily looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the requirements to use the protected professional title according to applicable regulations. We would appreciate it if you have experience in care and night work. Experience working with cognitive/medical disabilities or palliative care is also a merit. For the position of residential care assistant, it is a requirement that you have experience with night work and previous experience working in health and care. It is also a requirement that you can receive delegation of medication management from nursing staff. We are looking for someone who is confident and independent in your work and who can take responsibility for planning and prioritizing your tasks during the night. You are flexible and can easily adapt when situations change or when operational needs shift. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to a good work environment through good communication and collaboration with colleagues. In your work, you use good judgment and can make thoughtful decisions based on the individual's needs and situation. You also have a good overall perspective and see both the individual's needs and the operations as a whole. Since all documentation and communication takes place in Swedish, it is important that you speak and write the language well.
