Home Care Services in Fårösund, Lärbro, and Slite operates in three different areas of northern Gotland. You will have your primary placement in one of these areas, but it is important that you are flexible and can support other home care services when needed. Together, we collaborate across area boundaries to ensure good care, quality, and continuity for our users. The work involves moving around the local area and working in users' homes, where you meet people in their daily lives and provide support, care, and a sense of security. Work days are characterized by variety, responsibility, and close contact with both users and colleagues. Each home care team consists of approximately 20 employees, with a mix of ages and varying experience levels. With us, nursing assistants and residential care assistants work in teams where collaboration is a natural part of everyday work. We are now seeking four employees for our home care team in Slite, four employees for our home care team in Lärbro, and one employee for our home care team in Fårösund. Your work tasks As a nursing assistant/residential care assistant, you will, among other things: Provide support, motivation, and assistance to users based on individual needs and approved services. Perform personal care in the user's home. Carry out medical interventions delegated by licensed personnel. Assist with companionship, shopping, and household-related tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Work as a care contact, responsible for communication between users, family members, and the organization. Establish, follow up, and work according to implementation plans. Document interventions and events in daily work. Cooperate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, benefit administrators, and other home care teams to ensure safe and good care. Work flexibly and when needed, collaborate with and support other home care teams in northern Gotland. For the position of nursing assistant in home care, the starting salary range is 29,000–34,000 kronor per month. For the position of residential care assistant in home care, the starting salary range is 24,000–30,000 kronor per month. We apply individual salary setting. Final salary is determined based on education, relevant experience, competence, and responsibility in the role, and in accordance with applicable collective agreements. Who are you? To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must meet the requirements to use the protected professional title according to current regulations. It is an asset if you have worked in nursing care and/or elderly care. To be employed as a residential care assistant, upper secondary education is desirable but not required. It is an asset if you have some form of education focused on care, such as care assistant training, and if you have prior experience with similar tasks. A driving license is required. You have personal maturity and are confident in yourself and in your professional role. You work independently, take responsibility for your work tasks, and have the ability to structure and prioritize your work efficiently. You are flexible and can adapt to changed circumstances, while also having good collaboration skills and contributing to an open and respectful work environment. You are service-oriented, considerate, and have a genuine interest in helping other people, and you work calmly and systematically with a focus on providing users with safe and good care. In accordance with the new language requirement, you need to have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, to ensure safe care and good and accurate documentation.
