Our youth clinics are well-functioning and pleasant workplaces with committed staff. The team consists of counselors, midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors working in multidisciplinary teams. Our target group is young people aged 12 through 24 years old. Our mission is to work preventively and promote health in areas such as sexual health, unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections, and physical and mental health. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now welcoming a nursing assistant to our team at the youth clinic in Malmö! This position is a temporary one-year contract. With us, you are offered a pleasant workplace with colleagues who care about each other.
Your role as a nursing assistant with us is important—you will receive young people in the waiting room and reception. You will help young people get settled, book appointments, provide brief information, distribute condoms, have brief conversations about sexually transmitted infections (STI) and safer sex, maintain records in PMO, and inform about other units as needed. Your duties also include working at the blood pressure clinic as well as mail handling, ordering supplies and laundry, and participating in outreach activities such as educational visits. When needed, you will also assist our doctor with examinations.
Work is conducted in collaboration with the clinic's other professional groups. Your specific expertise is of great importance for the team to be able to offer our visitors good multidisciplinary care.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are a requirement. We would like to see that you have experience working at a clinic and/or in reception. We also consider it advantageous if you have experience working in PMO, scheduling, and broad IT knowledge.
As a person, you are attentive and communicative, and you view pleasant treatment and good service as self-evident. Furthermore, you are stress-resilient and have the ability to work efficiently both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues. You are service-minded, have a positive outlook, and a genuine desire to work preventively. The work requires great commitment and respect for young people's living conditions.

Prior to any employment, a check will be conducted against suspicion and burden registers.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date to be agreed upon.
Working Hours: Temporary contract, 1 year.

If you have not yet received your certificate of protected professional title, you must attach your grades (not just diploma) from your healthcare and care education as well as your grades in Swedish or Swedish as a second language at the secondary school level.
