We are now seeking a nursing assistant for a temporary position at Skållerudshemmet. The temporary position is for 1 year, with the possibility of extension. About the Facility Skållerudshemmet is located in Åsensbruk with calm surroundings and proximity to nature. Here live 25 elderly individuals with a focus on somatic care and people with various care and support needs. There are a total of 32 apartments divided into four units; currently there are 25 residents on 3 units. We who work here are care and support staff with extensive experience in elderly care and healthcare. The residence is staffed 24/7 and we work every other weekend. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant in a residential care facility, you work with care and support tasks based on our residents' individual needs. The work is performed in the residents' own apartments. The position includes receiving and performing delegated healthcare tasks according to current guidelines. You also have documentation responsibilities. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. In your role as a nursing assistant, you take on your own responsibility. It is important that you are flexible, secure as a person, and that you prioritize residents' needs and wishes. You enjoy meeting people, are attentive and empathetic, and have a willingness to collaborate to create the best overall solution for our residents. We see that you are comfortable using computers and preferably have experience with the Lifecare documentation system. It is important that you have good Swedish language skills and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing. If you have previously worked as a nursing assistant, that is a merit.
