Nursing Assistant – Temporary Position at Gustavsbergs Health Center from mid-December through August 2027. At Gustavsbergs Health Center, several departments work closely together. Here you'll find a general practice clinic, home care nursing, child health clinics (BVC), maternal health clinics (MVC), rehabilitation, and first-line psychiatry. This creates excellent opportunities for close collaboration between different professions and enables us to offer our patients safe and coordinated care. We are seeking a nursing assistant on a 100% temporary contract for the general practice clinic covering a colleague on parental leave. Working hours are 7:45–17:00 (Fridays end at 14:30). You'll work in a cohesive, friendly team where we help each other and there's a relaxed atmosphere. Your main duties will be administrative, such as handling reception requests and cancellations/rebookings in the scheduling system (AÖ), calling patients from the waiting list, and managing referrals. Practical tasks include taking EKGs, measuring blood pressure, and assisting doctors with minor procedures. We staff Kompassen, our drop-in clinic where patients can come with questions and for help. We also conduct team rounds involving nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors, where nursing assistants participate in rounds and handle scheduling. Qualifications - Nursing assistant with experience working at a health center - Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Personal Qualities We're looking for someone with a positive attitude and who collaborates easily. We see that you are flexible and solution-focused and have good organizational skills. Personal suitability carries great weight. Employment Terms - Employment form: Temporary position approximately 8 months, starting mid-December - The position is filled on the condition that it is not needed for internal redeployment, according to applicable regulations. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Health Services Area (SLSO): - A criminal records check is conducted before an employment decision, according to SLSO's overarching guidelines - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo an occupational health examination, according to current directives, conducted through occupational health services before employment - In addition to Swedish professional credentials, strong Swedish language skills at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) are required.
