About Us Närhälsan Götene Health Center is one of the publicly operated health centers in Västra Götaland region with approximately 10,000 registered residents. The work consists of, among other things, independent work in the laboratory with blood draws and follow-ups, assisting doctors with wound care and minor procedures, and performing common examinations, such as blood pressure measurement and EKG examination. Work areas such as wound dressing changes, suture removal, and managing your own clinic are also part of the work. Work at the on-call center may also become relevant. You will work both independently and in teams with other staff categories at the health center. Supply ordering and preparation of examination rooms are part of daily work. We work in the journal system Asynja Visph. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students is also part of your role at the health center. About You You have documented education as a nursing assistant. You have previous experience working in regional primary care. You have previous experience with venous blood draws. It is a merit if you have previous experience with wound dressing changes, suture removal, blood pressure measurement, and running your own nursing assistant clinic. Mentor training is desirable. In your work you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, responsive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. The workload is varying and sometimes high, so it is important that you have good ability to prioritize your tasks and be flexible. Other Information Interviews at the unit are held on an ongoing basis. This position is a temporary position until 2027-08-31. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means you need a certificate from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in healthcare and care.
